It is an absolute crime and ultimate sin to have more than one slothead. ......Calming down...... Okay, fine; at least let me borrow yours for a month; how about just will the darn thing to me whoever dies first. That'll give me an incentive to stay healthy and outlive you SOB's (Slothead Ovation Braggers). ....Deep breathing.... Just me & my "still solid head" Adamas!

He's been thru all kinds of difficulty, has hair in a braid down to his ass, wears lots of Indian jewelry. All he would say is "It disappeared", that "I should have bought it back then" (it wasn't for sale, I asked about it),and "that was in the past". I think it's gone.

I'd just like to find how many are left in existence. It's surprising that in the rapid growth of this forum (especially internationally) that more haven't surfaced.

Didn't get a chance to play it (the line was too long :D ), but it sounded GREAT! There IS in fact a red SlotHead on the wall (see pics) in the R&D Dept. Possibly #47? Number 47 is listed to Ovation Engineering Dept. So, in "recap": Elias has/had #31 Sam has #33 Bill has #35 Ovation has #47(?) Bill has #53 I have (as far as I know) #54 Sam has #57 That's 7 out of 34. 27 "Holy Grail"s floating around out there somewhere. Makes you wonder how many might've been sheetrock-screwed to the rafters of a "Bennigan's" between the rusty Michigan license plate and the dry-rotted "oohgah" horn.

I agree we are a band of brothers whose appreciation for these fine instruments get little respect, but that imagery and speculation is unbearable! 'Sheetrock screws', indeed! I have to salvage some, albeit miniscule, belief in a "just universe"!!
