Hi, Guys
I'm new to this club and also new to the world of guitars. I've almost hit that big four O mark and have decided that I want to learn how to play. I got my hands on an ovation, not really sure what I have , was hoping for some assistants. It's an acoustic(no electric jacks), model number 1121-4 came with a brown hard case lined with velvet. (real sharp looking guitar). I was wondering if anyone knew what it was worth and exactly what model is it ? I hope I'm posting this in the right place. Thanks for the help.

Hi Jesse, and welcome! Check out the reference section on the left margin. It will give you some basic info on your guitar. Valuewise, search some of the Ebay sales to see what the fair market value is.
Best luck,
Chris

Your guitar is an Artist. Essentially it's a shallow bowl Balladeer or a less fancy Glen Campbell, depending on your veiwpoint. Value is tricky, but as an older Ovation without electronics I'd say ballpark is around $300

Jesse:
I started at 42 and have been playing for a year. I love the US made Ovations. Interestingly enough, Ovation also used to make a couple killer electrics. Pick up an old UK II sometime when you get the urge to try an electric.
