Hi all,
I found an offer, used Ovation Anniversary Edition, I think it's 1157 (it's the one without the pickup, pure acoustic right?) about 700 euros. I am an electric guitar player myself so I can't quite value such a guitar. How much would it cost? Is it a good deal or not?
If someone has a recommendation mail me:

Thanx a bunch!

Anniversary looks like a beautiful guitar, not sure how it plays...one on eBay now #2577695936, It is a relist, prior high bid of $331 with reserve not met. This one is a/e. No idea how many made.

Hard to tell value but would estimate $400-450 based on comparison with 1619 CL.

Anniversary $625 in 1978, $840 in 1983;
#1619 Custom Legend $800 in 1974, $1,140 in 1984.
CL #1619 can be found on eBay for $450-800 depending on condition.

Tony,

I emailed the seller with some questions about the one you mentioned but I haven't got a reply yet! Your estimate is probably right because the Anniversary model is basically a fancy legend!(carved bridge & rod cover,"snowflake" position markers,herringbone trim added for appearance difference)

A buddy of mine had an identical one years ago which sounded great but as you know even like models can sound very different!
