If you haven’t read about Long Necks already, this is a barritone guitar that is normally tuned a full step down to D tuning, although a lot of musicians tune to C or lower. The main point for most people is to allow singers with lower vocal ranges to use normal open guitar chord positions while lowering the key of the song. Throw a capo on the second fret and it's in normal E tuning. But the lower tuning also adds depth and a whole new dimension to acoustic sound.

If you want bottom end, this guitar is for you, this baby really rumbles. The deep bowl and lower tuning make for tremendous bottom end, and it is loud! Strum an E minor and you can feel it in your gut. This guitar can easily keep up with the loudest dreadnaught. And it plays like an Ovation, what more do I need to say.

The guitar has a bit of oxidation and light corrosion on the tuners. There is a very small slight dent on the back of the neck from a capo. The top is flawless, very-very slight fret wear but nothing at all serious. Comes with a hard shell case that aside from a few minor scuffs is also in excellent condition. These guitars are getting hard to find, new they list around $1700, and probably would sell around $1300. I am selling to raise money for an Ovation Adamas and my wife says if a new guitar shows up an old one must leave.
