Location: Minden, Nebraska | Black finish with normal surface wear; no cracks. The worst blem is that one of the headstock horns had the edge chipped off in a fall. The fret wear is light, and there are no issues with the neck or the bridge.
This deep bowl baby has a fairly big sound with solid bass, crisp highs, and good sustain. OP24 preamp.
$400 with OHSC. I'll ask more if it goes to eBay. |

I don't know, but Kim Keller would.
However, I have had a similar repair done by my local Ovation dealer tech on the headstock on a 1989 Collectors'. The '89 has a pointy headstock with inline tuners, and the tip had been cracked. The tech used some kind of filler to build it up and shape it correctly (guitar bondo?) and then painted it to match. I don't think the price was exhorbitant, but that has been several years ago. |

Location: Taichung, Taiwan | Paul, thanks for connecting me with Kim @ customer service for the replacement pickup.
If you would be willing to ship your Elite to Taiwan how much would that add? I might just take this Ultra over to a few shops and see how much I can get for it.
Thanks again for your help. |
