Yea it was one of the non dimarzio cheaper style versions too by the look of things, it doesn't look anywhere as nice as the dimazio type GPs. If you look closely it has funny tuners, a jack plate and a bridge with an extra bit on the end. Weird

I woulda taken it. Non Dimarzio's or not. If you read harmony central's reviews some guy said the Korean knockoffs of the Super 2's sounded fine and he eventually replaced a GP with EMG's in it with some other pickups and said the guitar still sounded amazing. On a side note, I wonder what the hell it woulda sound like with EMG's in it but I'm not gonna find out any time soon.

I'm the guy who wrote the review on harmony central. The guy I bought it from (for $399) put EMG's in it. It sounded like you'd expect, loud, clear, but with no real personality. The knock off p.u.'s are okay, but the real Super II's are awesome. I saw the black GP auction and I knew that for me it wasn't worth the 2K. It had a replacement bridge (Schaller 456 with the fine tuners at the bottom), the plate jack (I hate that damn thing), and a few too many dings. I have a mint black one with DiMarzios so I'm saving my big cash for when a nice honeyburst shows up (anyone?). I'm down to two cherrybursts and one black GP. I will own one of each color again damn it!
