Location: Boca Raton, FL | I have a Matrix 1132-4 acoustic that I might be interested in selling, if I can figure out a value for it. It has an aluminum neck, and some of the paint has come off the fretboard due to some slide I was trying to learn many years ago. There are no cracks in the top, just a bit of wear along the binding.
I bought it in the late '70's; it has serial #091520.
The sound is superb, but not only do I need an acoustic/electric, but the deep bowl no longer fits my older body very well. (LOL)
I'd also include a one-year old hard shell Ovation case that I bought to replace the old chipboard; I paid $100 for that. |

They were made in the early 70s.I got it new in 75.I`m told they were made to use for a while, than throw it away, since you can`t really work on them. No way would I ever get rid of mine. It sounds so great and plays so easy, it one of my favorites. I use it on stage all the time. They only cost around $250.00 when new, so I wouldn`t expect to much for it. They are a rare breed, I would hold onto it. |
