Okie Dokie...here's the deal: I'm trying to shake enough change out of the old piggy bank to justify the purchase of yet one more Ovation (a '75 Classic from the original owner!) and avoid the possible "domestic dispute :( " that sometimes accompanies additional aquisitions (y'all know what I mean!?!)...Soooo, all sales will no doubt go to a very worthy cause (helpin' a bro' score another very special vintage Ovation for the Harem (though some call it a herd)...4Sale to OFC:

Super Rare, Vintage OVATION Full-Line Brochure...never seen another (on eBay or anywhere).
This is at least 30 years old, and is in good shape for it's age and much loved use...I got it around the time I bought my first Acoustic/Electric Artist in '72, and have spent countless hours over the years oogling over it, now it's someone else's turn! :D
Based on the prices I've sold several less rare vintage items, I'm guessing this one is worth some solid change...
Also, a 1997 Full Line Brochure in mint condition...
And, THE OVATION BOOK, by Walter Carter (a must have/read for all serious Ovationados)...
A Like New DOD FX64 Stereo Chorus, and...
Finally, a Shure 545SD Micro in great shape with the original Shure Mic-Bag.

I've posted pic's and details in the Gallery, under the For Sale Trinkets & Toys album of MisterGolf007...Feel free to check my feedback at eBay (100% @91) and e-mail me for additional Q's.

Many Mahalos 2 Y'all ~ :D

Kurt,
I have that same catalog which btw I bought off of ebay in Aug. 2000 and the seller had it listed as a '73 catalog which would be correct if you said you bought your guitar in late '72 and the artist listed were popular about that time period.
Also '73 was the first year for the Concert Classic which is listed in the catalog as well as the second year for the Folklore & Electric Pacemaker 12.

Great catalog!!!!

Mike  (btw I paid $23.30 total for my copy!)

The Walter Carter "History of Ovation" book is spoken for, and there's still time for offers on the other items prior to the launch on eBay...Thanks y'all for your interest and your willingness to help fund another G'tar!

Hello Kurt,

I've tried a couple of emails, and that doesn't seem to be working. If you would be willing to give me a call on Thursday afternoon I'll be at home after 2:30 or 3:00 253-838-6443. Thanks! Still interested.

Glenn

Kurt,

Thanks for the awesome catalog, and the extra info. It has been a pleasure. Let me know when we can get together with Mike for a little music and fellowship.

Glenn :)

Thanks, Y'all for your support and encouragement in this endeavor...the toys have all found new homes, and the piggy bank has once again overflowed with the Good Lord's provision, the G'tar budget has been met, and Domestic Tranquility has been both preserved and enhanced!!!

And a special thanks for the brotherly connection with Glenn and Mike - let's find a time when we can converge in my neighborhood (sort of a mid-point) and perhaps I'll provide a drummer and a piano player and we can run through a 16 channel Mackie and lift the roof (and our hands!)

Once again, Mahalo to Y'all-o!

Kurt,
I'll have you know I left your happy home with an appreciation of the Folklore Deluxe and bite of "Deacon" G-A-S. Does it never end?
I'm glad your "O" Fund is fulfilled!

Peace

Well, OFC Family...the #1613 arrived safely from Tulsa (safely packed in a Taylor box!) and WOW - I gotta tell ya, this is an incredible cousin to my #FD14 Folklore DeLuxe, slotted headstock, gold tuners, wide 12 fret neck, deep bowl and AAA Spanish Pine (Thuja Plicata) top! I can't wait to try out the Stereo pick-up through the sanctuary sound system...report to follow.

Give me a little time to get the harem dressed for a family photo...thanks again, y'all! Peace, Love & DeepBowl Harmony~ :D :)

P.S. The wife commented how much she just loves the sound of a classical guitar...Mega-Ditto! ;)
