He's also to perform something like 75 hrs of community service. FWIW, the assault charge on the police oficer was dropped. Jeff

I'm not sure where you're from, but if you punch and bite a uniformed officer while being legally drunk, you will spend some jail time. He was driving, at night, near his home (VERY nice neighborhood). He sideswiped a car at a somewhat crowded intersection, then continued to drive away. Witnesses took down his license plate and car description (new 7 series BMW) and called 911. The police looked up the ownership registration from the license number and went to his house. The rang the doorbell. He answered it and got in a fight with the officer. He punched the officer, wrestled him to the ground and bit the officer's leg. He continued to fight after back-up arrived. It took 3 officers to subdue him and bring him in. At the station he blew way past legally drunk on the breathalizer. Since the police never saw him drive and the DA didn't want to rely on witness statements that it was actually Glen Campbell driving (tinted windows at night makes it hard to identify a driver), they reached a plea agreement. The plea agreement included a little bit of county jail time. Otherwise, he would have been looking at a longer jail if convicted of drunk & disorderly and assaulting a police officer. Please let me know where you're from. If I'm ever visiting, I'll feel comfortable getting drunk and hitting a cop, knowing I won't have to go to jail. P.S. I hope this guitar sells for a lot of money, so the values go up when I go to sell my original Deluxe Balladeer.
