well,if someone can beg for a breadwinner, why can i not beg for a gp?saw and almost bought one on ebay but how much do you trust someone half a world away when you`re talking serious coin?i have made it a mission in life to find one(obsessed?).anyway, for those fortunate enough to own one,is it really all that?do you really get that serious tone like q know who?wondering, wanting and waiting.

My father used to tell a story.

it went like this.

When he was a boy he would ask my grandfather

"poppy buy me a pool table."

my grandfather would reply

"balls I'll buy you"

You mean Josh Homme? Yeah, you'll get his tone if you plug a GP into an Ampeg VT-22 cranking the clean channel up all the way making everyone around you deaf or sterile.

But yeah, the GP's tone is amazing. Both clean and distortion, I've never heard anything better.

as anyone that doesn`t ride the short bus would attest, everyone has their own style, gear, etc.i don`t wanna be josh.hell,i`m a singer more than a player.but in enjoying this new found hobby i`m searching for that ultra muddy sound.what i play now is way too bright for what i like to play.just searching for my paradigm.that or a pool table.

It's definitely the guitar I've gotten the hardest sound out of. Gibson Explorer gives you a pretty hard sound too.
