Im looking for parts ok, but a badly defretted neck, some sanding done on the body, all electronics de-soldered, allmost all the parts that just might work if put together. It sounds a little over the top, or is it just me (again)? Hey you guys, i really dont know what the value of a good instrument sold in parts should be, but a guitar in this shape? Please someone tell me whats up and whats down.
best regards

Location: Scotland | I've seen Deacon pre-amps, working or not go for over $100. Battery covers & neck-plates for $50-$75 each. Cases at least $120. Pickguards $20+ Deacon/BW pickups, necks & bodies sold individually all fetch good money, so this isn't necessarily a bad deal, except that it's in Austrailia & shipping Tax and import duty could make it expensive. It's basically a bunch of junk and personally I'd leave it alone, but if you had all the other parts and needed just that one elusive component then it may be worth persuing, you could buy it, take what you need & in the words of JC sell it "one piece at a time"
and make a tidy profit. |

Location: Georgia USA | "Many years ago this guitar was in complete original condition"? So was Noah's Ark. Too bad they didn't state the condition of then case. The guitar looks like a total loss, with the body, the neck and the pickguard not worth owning. |
