My wife got sick of tripping over all my guitars. She REALLY put her foot down today (and i won't tell you where she put her foot, but I'm writing this standing up :o ).

I've put my Blueridge on Ebay already. I am selling my 1974 Ovation Glen Campbell 12-string and my Celebrity CC13 classical. I thought I would offer them here first. Please e-mail me for details and pictures.

Adamas II
1537 Elite
1613 Classical
UK-II
1157-7 Aniversary
Breedlove 12
Haida Gwaii #34 and #35
Paragon #104

Selling:
Blueridge BR-160
Celebrity CC13
Glen Campbell 12-string

Maybe's:
Custom Legend - might not be in good enough shape to get enough money to be worth selling.

I might, might, might have to let the 1537 go. I'll have to see. Even my wife likes my 1537. I hope it doesn't come down to the 1537.

My heartfelt condolences and my thanks for your mentioning it here first Brad. I am currently amidst an aquisition and don't dare get two trip-hazards simultaneously but if you have the CC13 Classical in a month I'm looking for a good learning guitar for my daughter. Sometimes just saying it may be sold is enough!

In the mean time get some wall hangers or just flat out hide them away!

And June is the diamond month!

Don't sell your 1537. They are truly wonderful guitars. I'd be down to my last guitar before I'd sell mine. And my wife loves mine too.

But if you have to, talk to Norseman. He's dying for one.

I hope I don't have to (sorry Norseman1).

I didn't inclue my Elite 12-string. I left it in the hands of a guitar repair person who I haven't talked to in months. I need to get it back and also sell it.

Why do women like 1537's? My wife loves the one I have.

The only thing I can think of is that 1537's have a warm sound and look. For a guitar with a fiberglass back, it's very organic looking. Also, it sounds better to the person in front of the guitar than to the person playing it.

Bill, don't you / didn't you do a babe check on models before you put them out? Similar to determining the audio signature of the guitars?

Actually it has to do with simple mathmatics....#1537 = 1+5+3+7=16 + 16+1537(sq)X 6.353 to the 8th pwr - {1/5" + ?)@33 1/3 (+/- 14)= They think it looks purdy!!! :D

Bradley,

Do me a favor. Set your 1537 (in it's case of course) on the floor. Give her a spin, and if the headstock points North...take it as a sign.

If you hear howling coming from your music room during a full moon, set her free bro, I've got a Northwoods home all set up for her.

Seriously though, if you do get to that lowly state of having to sell your 1537.... DIVORCE YOUR WIFE! ;)

Yes, Paul pointed that one out to me as well. I will be watching that auction with one eye, and my checkbook with the other. We'll see.

Thanks for the heads-up!

Hey Norsey,
You might want to email the seller and ask him some question about the action 'cause the pick-up looks alittle "low in the saddle" (no shims?) and the guitar (although "purdy") might need a neck reset!!.....

That saddle looks down about where mine it. Low for good action, but high enough for a good string break.

I apologize Bradley, I was peeking at your 1537, and drooling all over my key board. Forget that ugly sister on ebay, I'm lusting after yourn

How about a nice little fishing boat? Ice fish house? Deer rifle? How about the rims off my wife's Bonneville? I must have something we could trade for?
