Location: Ontario | I have a Matrix in almost mint condition. The only thing that is wrong with it is the plastic ring around the hole in the top is busted all to shit. There is a large chunck missing from it. How this could have happened and not damaged anything else on the guitar, well, your guess is as good as mine (actually probly a hell of a lot better, as I just began playing about 8 months ago, if you didn't notice). So I was wondering if anyone can tell me where I can get one of the plastic rings. As far as I know, they still use the very same rings today. If you do happen to know where I can get them, you might be able to help me out on how much they cost, and how I would go about replacing the broken part.
thanks,

Location: Ontario | Thanks for that info. Do you happen to know if that is a hard repair. I wouldn't think so, but like I said before, I am a suver rockie, and I really don't want to mess up this geet. |

Location: Pacific Northwest Inland Empire | Y'know, we forgot to canvas the neighborhood here, Nick. Anybody out there got a rosette laying around? Actually, I could use one, too!
Please send me an email, if one (in good condition) is available.
Thankyakindly! |

Location: Pacific Northwest Inland Empire | Gee...Bill...thanks. Maybe not outright encouragement, but good reality-testing, certainly. There are probably many conversations I'm better off for not being privy to. What I am grateful for is that The Wizards in the Service Department are willing to take on some of our casualties.
My instrument-rehabilitation activities are not always based on wise cost/value analysis, to be sure. |
