Location: Upper Left USA | xbj's talking fretboards. I think you are talking the finish. I got one from Mother not long ago. All they had was Sunburst.
You could strip and redo if you really needed to.

You may have to leave 1/4" strip and then hand sand up to it.
The better chem stripper for Poly-saturated finish is the Aircraft Stripper found in auto parts stores. About $30+ a gallon.
Melts in your mind and not in your hands! It will strip the Ovation logo as well. |
