Location: CA | I have a 1973-1975 white Ovation Breadwinner (model # E5540)in very good shape (with the case) and I'm thinking about selling it. Any thoughts about pricing guidelines for it? I've called a few music stores, but the prices they give me vary... Any help appreciated. |

Cash!
Paul is right. the best way is to start tracking BW's on ebay and judge where you think yours fits in.
They have been showing some appreciation as of late. An original bright shiny one can jump the $450 plus mark I would have set about a month ago. When I'm broke there are several out there going for a lot of cash. When I have the money they dry up!
I'm broke now. |

This one should be a good price indicator for you, Deacons and BW's seem to be fetching a good price on Ebay right now  If you have the time to list yours, I think you will find that you'll get a better price on Ebay than any music store can offer you :)
Good luck with your sale :D  |

Location: CA | Thanks guys! I had checked Ebay a few times, but didn't see any Breadwinners listed until now. Thanks for pointing that out. I'd really like to trade it for an Ovation acoustic, but I've just had a baby girl and could use the cash. Ah, well, someday I'll get around to getting one. - SL |

Send me an email and maybe we can work a deal for an acoustic and cash for the Breadwinner.
