Joined: November 2004 Posts: 1374 | The TakGX100 in my luthier's(Brett) opinion is a wash out.. due to the way the split went into the truss rod pipe, when he went to spread the break to do the glue job it just continued to travel down the neck through the center. since is a set neck and would have to be broken loose and then refab a neck to restore along with refinishing I have just went ahead and filed a claim on the damage for full value of guitar + shipping. as soon as I receive the follow up from the usps I will send it your way. The inspector at the post office did agree that the packing/guitar looked like something heavy had been stacked on top of the box. sorry to let it go, am looking for another but all I've found so far is an ugly blue one.
