I have a black Preacher 12 for sale but I believe that Glenn Hess has claimed first right of refusal.

If I can jump in a little here, whatchadoin' to the Tak, Glenn? My interest lies in the fact that I've got one eye on a new Tak (the EAN10C) and I'd love to know how dealing with the company is (not that I'm anticipating having to do that BUT...).

The TakGX100 in my luthier's(Brett) opinion is a wash out.. due to the way the split went into the truss rod pipe, when he went to spread the break to do the glue job it just continued to travel down the neck through the center. since is a set neck and would have to be broken loose and then refab a neck to restore along with refinishing I have just went ahead and filed a claim on the damage for full value of guitar + shipping. as soon as I receive the follow up from the usps I will send it your way. The inspector at the post office did agree that the packing/guitar looked like something heavy had been stacked on top of the box.

sorry to let it go, am looking for another but all I've found so far is an ugly blue one.

God Bless,

Glenn.

Ouch. Hate when THAT happens. And I agree with the "ugly blue ones" - I prefer the natural look or even black, if I have to sway a little, but I'll pass most others by.

Good luck!

I have nothing against blue, even like most of the blue top Ovations and Adamii, but the tak I saw was just butt-ugly.

Glen you are right. There are different shades of Blue and i suppose it would depend on how it looked on a certain type of wood Maybe it was uglier because it wasn't as Ovation.

Glenn, that is really a shame. I overpacked that sucker so well, I figured it would survive an atomic blast.

Hate to see an awesome sounding and playing guitar like that take an ugly demise.
