Location: Birmingham, Alabama | I once owned one of these guitars pictured on Carter's book. It's a very ornate Custom Elite model with inlays all around the neck and fret board. It was sold with an autographed copy of Carter's book. I am willing to pay top dollar for the guitar.

Location: Upper Left USA | The Ted Brown Music Store in Tacoma WA has a "new" 1996 LTD on the rack. It was never sold and would come with full warranty. They were asking $1399.
It plays great, sounds great and has one minute ding on the upper bout that Ovation counld easily buff out.
I tuned it Saturday after playing the 05 Collector. |

I don't have your original guitar but I do have one I would part with. I bought from a member here a year or two ago. Don't play it much, very nice but with 2 small finish cracks.

Location: Canton (Detroit), MI | Harry, I also know where there is a NOS "book" Elite in a shop in Indiana....but I'd pursue the other leads first, that shop wanted a ridiculous amount for it, over $3000(!!!).
