| Hi folks
I have a VIPER III (ash) , a very rare guitar. My VIPER is in absolutely perfect condition, a purely 10 with no doubt. It looks like new! Frets, pickguard, writing (VIPER III) and electronics are in wonderful shape.
I would prefer to have a VIPER in Mahogany, that fits better in my collection! But it has to be also a 10! So who wants to take te opportunity to get a VIPER III instead of his VIPER II?

Is it the "thank you ebay" Viper? It looks great to me. To tell you the truth, my main reason to part from my VIPER III is the weight. I had a VIPER II sunburst before and it was much less weight. I am very happy with the technique of the III, so if your mahogany-version III is the same weight as the II, I am interested in the III. Otherwise in the II, because my back is very thankful for the lighter guitar. Did I express myself as unclear as possible? Please excuse a swiss guy, hihi. So if we could get the deal, I could sell my VIPER afterwards, that is no problem. What would be your price? III, resp. II?

First two are pristine (near mint) and the sunburst has a few dings and a modified headstock.
Email me to let me know which one you are interested in. You know the first two would make an awesome pair (and I discount multiple purchases!).

I don't think those first two Vipers are mahogany...the first one looks like ash and the second, maple. Great looking axes, though.

SO, IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED, THEY MIGHT REALLY BE MAPLE AND ASH.
I can also weigh them if anyone needs to know that information (hosebei maybe??) |

| Of course i am talking about the WEIGHT if I say lighter...not the colour. Sorry, I am a Swiss guy and my english...hihi. Natural is not what I am looking for, thanks. Mahogany would fit perfectly, because my preacher, my breadwinner ltd. and my two basses are mahogany and very handsome. But the VIPERs of Stephen look very good! Waiting for your infos! |

I had forgotten how hefty these puppies are. No wonder they sound so big and beefy!
Viper = 8 pounds even
Viper 3 = 9 pounds even
Weighed on a digital scale so these should be pretty accurate. |

Burst Viper 3 = 8.5 pounds |

| Stephen, I will weight now my ash Viper to compare....8 pounds are quiet a lot....I am afraid my Viper is in that area....I let you know asap....tomorrow I will not be at home in the evening...I will see Peter Frampton!!! Not bad, isnt'it? |

| Here I am again, Stephen! I weighted all my guitars, interesting thing....4 kilograms is exactly the weight of my PREACHER and that is OK. So I am interested in your 8 pounds/4kilograms VIPER, which is probably maple. Please make me an offer!!! US parcel is very good in shipping to switzerland, I used them many times. US$ 73.-- is the normal cost for economy.

| if it's anything like my preacher deluxe w/mahogany neck and body plus all the schaller hardware it's a brick... but it sure does sound nice.. gonna sound better in a week or 2 if chatman can get the elx fixed.
nice looking mahogany viper.
