He likes the elite style. I told him I would see if any of the members are selling one. He wants a USA made.
His budget is $400-500.

Noticed you are a fellow Okie (Howdy!), if you find yourself in Norman there's a pawn shop called Circle "D" that has a pretty interesting selection of used Ovations as well. I bought my 1868-5 Elite from them. Last time I was there they had another 1868 Elite (1992/natural), a couple of older standard elite's and a DS Longneck for sale (Good condition/not mint). Haven't been there in about a month or so, but I'll bet they still have them. They tend to list their stuff pretty high but they will negotiate. Their phone# is (405)447-3400

My son lives in Yukon, so he might decide to go over and look. Or we might meet there and take a look.
Not many of us okies on the OFC. Maybe we can get together sometime. There is going to be an OFC gathering in Denton, TX. sometime next month. You could go right down I35. Will let you know more if you are interested. |

The one I have is a S778 (natural satin top, mid bowl w/ OP24+ preamp) in excellent condition with the OHSC. I haven't had time to get any pictures, but hopefully by tomorrow. If things don't work out at the pawn shop, email me and I will get you some pictures.
