Available in a range of exciting color options, the Pinnacle features a solid spruce top, Schaller machines, a FET-3 preamp and the same piezo pick-up system which has been favored by performing artists around the world.

Joined: December 2003 Posts: 28 Location: Chicagoland U.S.A. | I have a 3712 signed by Al D. himself from 1992 I believe, made in Japan, never heard any reference to them being made in Deutschland. Kinda like a Balladeer, all mahogany neck, very good FET-3 onboard, and a solid spruce top in white I guess you could say. Low action, low frets and plays nicely. I way overpaid for mine, but Al's signature is on it, Al even played it at a music store appearance in California, which I have big photos of...so...that's all I know. And yes, the Japanese models have a better reputation than the Korean made. This is one solidly built guitar that has a 6 or 7 hundred dollar feel to it.
