An MWoody Deacon 12 string

Needless to say that for any OFC'ers it comes with the semi-limited Lifetime Warrantee!

I am trying to fund my GAS problems. I know you all understand!

Are you aware that one of the photos show a different set of pickups?

Yup!
If you hit the overpriced BIN I will throw in the PG with the factory soldered Phat Cats.

BTW - Bruce, I have a dark Wood veneer Viper III PG for you if you are interested!

PM me in case I'm messed up. I'd hate to send to, say, Cruster...

... then he'd have to get a guitar to fit it!

Yep That is the look! Nothing like the wood pickguards! Nice Job Mike. The 12 strings have quite the value these day's as well. Considering this is not original and has been refinished and worked on you'd think the value might be considerably diminished but This is a real nice job Mike. Should go quite well!

Good luck. Sure would have made a great mate for me. But then I won't be buying much for quite a while now.

I went in to check and see how this was doing and I figured it needed some kind of a decent early bid. Now it's on it's way.

I am concurrently selling one of the many signature Fenders for my brother. It is a point of jealousy at how they converged on that auction.
The standard Ovation auction formula seems to be wait until the last three minutes and then have a total of about 250 viewings.

His has 497 and a barrage of hair splitting questions.

Woody,

Is the "semi-limited Lifetime Warrantee" an upgrade from your "limited Lifetime Warrantee"?

Offer a "Semi Lifetime Unlimited Warrantee"

That could mean complete & totally free replacement for 1 minute.

Can't go wrong.

It's actually the same. I think I have been watching too much TV lately and I'm a little over stimulated by the Marketeers!

With this Auction I shot what I think is an achievable but high price on the BIN and my reserve. If it doesn't go I will come down a notch or two and take some better pictures (no legs!). Having a non original item does push a lot of potential buyers away.
I honestly feel that if anyone that wants to play a 12 string had a chance t compare the Deacon necks to the Ric or even the Hamer they would be hard pressed to find better.

Sound and electronics can be swapped and modified but the feel of the neck and playability something that is either there or not! All the rest is bling and wires.

Did I just pull out my Soapbox again?

Any solid body I sell to an OFC'er in good standing can return it to me for repair if it is within my means to do so. I have made some great friends here and I have shared and experienced some really cool instruments that I didn't even know existed a couple of years ago!
Stuff comes and goes but people are the important thing.

It's amazing how wonderful those Ovation h/b'ers look on that walnut pickguard.

For those that don't know, a certian PI came to my rescue when I needed some pups.

Have you ever thought of staining a PG black, to get the classic look and still have woodgrain? Just thought that would be cool.

It is called ebonizing. Looks a lot like Barnboard Grey.

How sad when a PI's career is reduced to finding immature canines to be used in government sponsored guitar experiments...

Frankie-Clipper gets the Deacon 12!

Hey Dave! Forget tracking serial numbers, can you track Members with Ebay names instead? I am a little confused!
