Not a bad price for average shape w/OHSC....just very common and a lot of them around. Without the case, the value is diminisished. Old brown cases for these guiters approach $100 on ebay whenever they show up.

W/O the case, probably closer to $200 will get you some action.

Sorry Aeagles, I currently have 2 Viper III's and a regular Viper. Sold off a regular Viper earlier in the year because 4 was too many (hell, 3 is still too many)!

Give it a few days....lots of members can only log in during the evenings or weekends.

I think you have the right idea and would be surprised if you don't get some legitmate offers by the weekend.

What do you mean by "average" shape? Can you describe. And what's the s/n?

average means...

not babied in it's 25 year history. belt buckle scratches - but not through the finish - Maple is pretty soft. pick guard scratches above the bridge pickup. couple small body dings. top of headstock worn. a small blem on the back of the neck at the 5th fret and a tiny ding at the third.

pretty average for a 25 year old guitar. The electronics are all original, plays well sounds fine.

sounds like pretty reasonable shape to me, considering the age.

belt buckle scratches, a few blemishes, couple small body dings, top of headstock worn.

Heck, that describes a good majority of the OFC Membership!

None of my belts fit anymore so I can't scratch guitars with them.

Is this a different finish than normal? It seems alot less yellow-colred than the average Viper.

I know someone who wants to get rid of a small overdone brunette who has been pampered daily for about 25 years...and rarely used by the actual owner :wow !

Perhaps you guys could work out a trade?!
