Now it's back onhttp://cgi.ebay.com/OVATION-1624-4-COUNTRY-ARTIST-1973-classic-elec-Guitar_W0QQitemZ7384312371QQcategoryZ113480QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Are the cracks in the back so bad that it's not worth $300?

It has just been relisted at $299 which, unless it has major structural problems, seems a good price particularly if you can do yourself, any minor restoration that it might need.

You need to find some picks or strings with a Buy it Now and obtain your first few Feedbacks. Look at most single digit Ebayers. Might I also add that since my Feedback hit "69" this weekend I should probably be buying a round!

Cost differenced might be great?)?
