Location: Central Massachusetts | Yeah, that's a good way to describe it. It's "warm" compared to the "crispness" of my LX.
Here's how I put it to Woz this AM: "A fresh set of EXP16's worked wonders. The set that was on there really shook on the bottom but there was nothing left at the high end. I played with it last night until my fingers hurt."
The new strings definitely brought back the full range, but the subtly "darker" undertones remain. |
