My office neighbor who bought the 1537 didn't get a case with it. I figured any deep bowl case would do, but then he reminded me of the 2 wooden knobs. Anyone know what cases fit the 1537 and whether they are available?
Another purpose for this post is to move Ernie down from the top.

Find out what case they're shipping with the Adamas 1 and 2 reissues, they are both deepbowl 2 knobbers. Or find any late 70's/80's brown deepbowl case, they all have an indentation in the sides to accomodate the knobs

I've got my 1537 in a brand new case right now. It fits with no problems.

9158 (top of line); or 8158 will also handle it - in fact, my 47RI came in an 8158 although it was supposed to be a 9158.

I bet one of those melon scoopers in the kitchen could customize your case to fit a double knobber right quick!

Not sure if it will fit -- but here is one.

I found out last night that my 1537 case is the same as the 9158 that my 99 Collector's came in. I'm not sure if either was the original case for the guitars, but both work for the 1537. The brown case that my Folklore came in did not work. It has a cutout for the volume knob on the shoulder, but not on the side.
