I could only dream of that happening to me. -You wanted to know how many of these were made -they say less than 400... (and josh homme has three of 'em :) They didn't sell very well because they were almost twice as expencive as Gibson Les Pauls, and they were supposed to rival those. You own a really rare guitar there, so take good care of it :) and yes some pics would be nice... ps. I am making my own gp so if there's anyone interested in some pics... let me know. I also have accurate corel draw blueprints and I'm willing to share them with you guys.. see ya!

Wouldn't like to go off topic now, so I'll return to the gp ultra -I just couldn't resist: Sorry about the poor photo quality. The project is still in its early phase -right now I'm waiting for my Schaller bridge to arrive and then I can move on to contouring the top.

(at the base of the neck) and the serial no. on the "backside" of the headstock. interestingly enough i heard that ovation stopped using real dimarzios at the end of the run.... do you pickup's have the dimarzio logo stamped into the back of them? And does anybody know anything about the reissues... i read something on the board a while ago.
