Being on the high 1537 pedestal and looking down on the mere mortals without one makes us forget to look up and see the even higher pedestal that has the #47RI owners looking down at us with smirks on their faces!

Since it is so similar to the '87 collectors (both cutaway) I have been seriously debating about letting one of them go.

I wonder if I put the same strings on both they'd sound and play close to the same. Even so, the appearance of the two guitars is sufficiently different that I would keep them for the variety. Oh, heck. I just have no plans to ever get rid of one of my guitars. There, I admitted it.

I forgot what Noah said he put on them and it plays so well that I have been reluctant to change them. Since I got the 87 I realized that the strings on the 1537 are going dead. It says a lot for the guitar that everyone who has played it thinks it's the best guitar they ever played even with the dead strings. I may be compulsive about refusing to let go of my guitars, but Stephen should be committed if he sells off all of his 1537/47s. We already know Jeff W. is nuts.
