Custom Adamas I 1688 -7(Beige). I had it custom built and I received it this past February. It has a special finish on it. It is beige on the outside and the light blue in the center of a -8, as opposed to the darker grey that is standard.OP PRO preamp. It looks more like the older adamas of the 70's and 80's. Please only email me if you are in the market or feel free to call (615)498-8030. Thanks!

I have had the opportunity to have two of Chris' 1688 12-strings...had a different -7 from him and traded back for his -8.

Chris is knowledgeable about working with the factory to create as close as possible the original.

This is a unique opportunity to get the FINEST 12-string that I have ever played. Ask Paul about how he feels about his "Big Blue".

And, this has the OP-Pro (I believe it also has the XLR)

Tony, if you adopt this one I might be able to take it off your hands in 3-4 months....or maybe pick it up while at the NAMM show.

Might have to if no takers. Adoption Agency is still functioning.

Looking forward to photos of Choate's new creation.

For anyone who hasn't worked with Chris...impeccable is the best description.

If you are thinking about an Adamas I 12-string, pretty hard to find a used one. To have a special order, not easy and expect to wait a long time.

If I didn't have the -8 Adamas I (from Chris) and a -8 Adamas II (from Chris), this one would no longer be available.

Yeah THANKS TONY! You've got this wonderful way of taking someone (me) who's sitting on the fence and just pushing them face first right over to the other side. I think you're quote was "if you want it you should just buy it". Sounds easy. Dave

I would have grabbed this in a heartbeat if the final payment on my custom slothead cutaway 12 fret 12 string wasn't going to be ready by month's end!

I got to play it and listen to it yesterday....OHHHH MY GOD!!!!!! Perfect...perfect....perfect and absolutely gorgeous! Baxendale's digital camera is down or I would have had pictures to post. Guess I will take and post them myself in 2-3 weeks when I pick up the guitar.
