The guitar is in very good condition, finish still shines bright and the case in used condition, but closes tight and all the latches work perfectly. The preamp needs repair, everything else works fine. (An original country artist with a sunburst finish is rare. I have never seen one on ebay or at an authorized Ovation dealer.)

If someone were interested ask the seller a few question. Seller has good feedback.

Joined: July 2006 Posts: 18 Location: Seattle | It costs $600 to properly pack and ship a guitar to France with UPS. That's their cost, not mine. If you're prepared to spend that I'll gladly ship it to you but I'm not going to tape a shipping label on the side of the Ovation case and drop it off at the post office and trust that it won't arrive a pile of kindling. I value the guitar, any guitar, more than that. Within the US it costs $65 for shipping, $10 for a box, and $25 to have the UPS guys crate it. I consider it $100 well spent. Thanks for your interest, Jean, and good luck to you.

You might want to check with Al. He ships a lot of stuff overseas using USPS Global Priority. I think the costs are pretty reasonable. Dave

Either one should give you decent options. The most it's ever cost me to ship a guitar was about $35.00, and I still to this day have not had to buy a box! (of course, that's probably because I've bought too many guitars...)

Thanks for your comments on the guitar. It has really good tone. I went hardcore classical awhile ago and bought a hand made guitar. I am selling it because though I love it and appreciate it, it deserves to get played.
