Adamas II 1681-8

What's up with all the A2's on the bay all of a sudden...have there always been that many, or is this just a recent thing?

Jason, it's much easier to say you're sorry than to ask permission. ;)

Yes there does seem to be quite a few Adamas II guitars now available. I suspect many owners have invested in 47RI's and have also ordered Alpep Koa Specials. Hence the herd thinning is understandable. A good time for buyers. Dave

It's just a reflection of the Universal Truth: If I'm looking to buy, there's nothing reasonable out there; if I'm not in the market, they're cheap and plentiful. After the new of the 30th Anniversary wears off, I'll probably be looking for an Adamas just like this, so there won't be any available.

Mark, PLAN AHEAD! Even if you only keep it till this, whatever it is, market wears off, you should at least get your money back.

Jim, I married a planner, so I don't have to be one. Besides, one of the reasons I can't buy the Adamas II right now is that I just got my 30th Anniversary present and it's not until next August. I thought about getting the Adamas you bought and hoping that a 30th CL would still be available next year, but I was too impatient.

Trawler, Why would you bid $1.60 on this guitar? Do you really think there is any chance in hell you'd win it for under 2 bucks? Sorry, shouldn't question your motives. Anyway it's a nice guitar. Hope some one here gets it for a good price. Dave

My guess is that Trawler uses an automated search and plop tool.

It wouldn't be that bad.

It doesn't get that cold in Florida. :D

You guys be careful. This $711 one one appears to have some nasty neck damage near the nut. TAKE A CLOSER LOOK. One of the other blue Adamas IIs looks to have damage on the upper side at the bowl-top binding. I know there seems to be a run on blue Adamas guitars right now, but don't be too hasty either.

Thanks Vince. I really don't see the damage you are talking about, but I'm starting to get wary, with this guy "garonemartin" bidding on this one again with 0 feedback. I thought the action was just a simple trussrod adjustment. I'm going to copy the pic and enlarge it...

Man, it's hard to tell if thats a reflection or an axe mark on the neck. When in doubt.....PASS.

PLUS, the guy wants to ship it MEDIA MAIL!
