I called Kim Keller, who told me that the factory made a few without Adamas logos because they ran out of the Adamas headstock facings. This one sure looks like an Adamas neck and fretboard. | ||

I assumed that the neck was repaired (making it an FRG), but what Kim told Paul makes sense, and having the Ovation headstock facing, they probably didn't want to sell it as a 1st stock. I wonder if this one has an FRG label? I sold mine to a guy in Florida, so it's probably another. Randy | ||

Joined: November 2006 Posts: 3969 | Yes it's a graphite Adamas SMT top/body. For all intents and purposes it's an Adamas. See Paul Blanchard's earlier post on this thread for a probable explanation for the Ovation headstock facing. | ||
