Anyone else looking at this? I lead the parade, but lots of early activity already. It will be interesting to see where this goes.

hmmmmm..... could be...

one of these days I might actually get to keep a 1758 for more than 6 months or so... haven't had a black one yet..

the 1758s are still my favorite O 12 overall, but since the UKXII is being finished up at Brett's shop, and the 2985 is in CT, I guess for now 2 ovation 12s is enough.

maybe,

Glenn

I have a 1758. It is an awesome sounding guitar.

Blues go for it.

You outbid me for it, but I don't want it as much as you. So, go for it!

Paul,

I would have bet you were Bidder 4. Whomever that is is pretty active in guitars and related gear.

I wish there was more detail provided on the other bidders, but I can understand EBay's motivation for hideing it.

I hope one of you guys gets it.

It is worth more than the current high bid.

Mine is a sunburst finish. When the store I got it from ordered it they had ordered the black.
With the gold tuners and the multi wood epaulets
this is an awesome looking a well as a great sounding guitar.

Mine was a gift to me from my Father back in 1989.

With rare exceptions, I bid what I am willing to pay -- which is always a bottom feeder price unless it is something I actually 'need'. Being outbid is routine here!

Bottom Feeding......that's the way I'm operating as well.

Myself, I'll typically make a 'steal it' bid and then come back at the close if it is something I'm real interested in.

I'll be back!

Price ain't moved in three days... I expect that this may get exciting/annoying for the bidders towards the end.
Oh, and an Infamil lid works as a back cover.

I'm out.

Other, more pressing priorities have come up which will consume the guitar fund for now.

mark,

Well, call it a monthly slush fund in the budget. It got spent on stuff for kids sports activities.

Maybe next month it will be a guitar fund.

(yeah right!)
