These are times when you can curse the internet and all that free info.. and hope to run into this guy at a garage sale and maybe give him $200 for this cheap plastic top blue guitar.. and only because blue is your wifes favorite color.. otherwise its probably worthless. It doesn't even have the soundhole in the right place for christ's sake.

Al, relax. You are not old. Say that five times and you will start to believe it.

You know that grey matter in your head. Well I think mine is coming out through my hair. Just having a grey moment here. or to put it another way...I think I'm losing my mind. Sorry Al. :)

Just for the old folks, I ain't saying Melissa Manchester DIDN'T play this dude's Adamas
(anything is possible) but she plays the Pianny.
(Thought so, so I cheated and did a YouTube search!)

So the guy had the wrong Melissa. Doesn't mean the rest of the ad isn't accurate. At least the part about him not knowing anything is probably accurate.

Guys, don't cry out loud, just keep it inside. And learn how to hide your feelings...

She plays the piano. I don't think she played guitar, but anything is possible. Maybe her arm inadvertently bumped into the strings once.

I can vouch for the authenticity of the music store sticker on the back of the headstock. Bobby's Music on Broadway in Denver (now gone) is the same place I purchased my 1651 in 1981.
