I've been jonesing for a cutaway anyway. Maybe this will work out all around.

I feel a little guilty, mostly because they can make sound SO MUCH better than I can. I've always been of the opinion of buying the best I can afford and buying only once, even if it is a stretch at the time. It doesn't hurt that I got a great deal on the 1681 and Al's best pricing on the UTE.
I pulled the 'ask forgivness later' routine on the UTE a last May and still suffer frostbite everytime I mention another aquisition to SWMBO. She has set the gauntlet though, "Make the guitars you own sound good and we'll talk". She doesn't understand the multiple guitar argument and the nuances of the different models, styles, shapes, colors, woods, necks,...... |

I could go on and on, but I'd get depressed. (OK, there was just a hint of sarcasm there. I know I have it pretty good.) |

Location: Boise, Idaho | There was a Custom Balladeer that sold for $125 a few hours ago. I was trying to get a guy in the office to buy it, but he missed it. When he told his wife about it, she said "we" already have a guitar, meaning the one he bought her for Christmas. I guess she didn't think he needed even one for himself. Some of us are very fortunate. |
