whats up with the bridge on this one? looks like someone drilled out the bridge to use pins....

Shouldn't that neck be oiled and those pins are just wrong. My guess is that the neck has been off and on.

The "string tubes" on an Ovation bridge is one of the reason I like O's... I hate pins, I don't trust 'em, don't like 'em, had 'em pop out while tuning. (pardon me)
And even with the paint and the bridge he wants, WHAT?

It looks like the whole neck was painted. I'd guess that the string anchor broke in the bridge and not being able to repair that they just popped in the pins. Good one to avoid.

I think it looks like a lot of (bad)cover-up repair work. I would have bought it (cheap?)and sent her in for a new neck and bridge.
