You open the Ovation home page to find Mick Thomson looking like he wants to audition for the soundtrack to Scary Movie XXXIV, and one click away you find the "Snuggles" guitar!

From chain saws to tree-huggers (get it?), how bi-polar can you get?

They also have a video of a comparison with a Martin D-28 and the D-28 comes out ahead of the Legend.

I was cruising throught the Kaki King videos early this morning and they had 15 short vids, including some from Jerome's site, that scrolled across the bottom. I don't have time to go back and find it.

I just realized it was on YouTube. I was watching the Kaki King YouTube vid that was linked on the Ovation site and watched some of the YouTube related videos.

Mark, if you can find it, I'd be interested in seeing it. I'd be curious as to which Legend was being compared...

That's the one and I think it's an Elite.
Thanks, Randy. I had to finish up some work so I could go golfing.

you're welcome, mark and moody! it was the only martin/ovation comparison i could find on youtube. i think the ovation sounded better. not as loud, but clearer and "tighter". he shoulda compared them plugged in!

Thanks Randy. It would have been more interesting to compare a 47, OFC, 2080, or 08 to the Martin. They would have yielded a bigger sound.

But when you talk about which guitar is better, it's so damned subjective. I've been thru this the last couple of days and won't go there again....
