this 12 stringer looks to be very nice. i've been watching this auction for several days as probably many of you have. thought it worth posting here.
(not that i'm in the market for another 12 stringer ;) )

Ebay needs to post a definition for "mint"....

This is interesting, from the Toolhaus site ...

"eBay has blocked access to feedback. Toolhaus is unable to obtain information which is available only to registered eBay users. We're not happy about this."

That sucks. Ebay has shot down a great tool for buyer protection.

And you should, Jim. Don't misunderstand me, it is a beautiful guitar! If I had the cash I'd probably be going for it as a cousin to my 1581.

"shootout at the "O" corral", huh?

i'm not going to take any guitars with me on the trip but i am hoping to purchase one while there. i'm considering a used martin hd-28 which should be plentiful in that neck o' the woods. dream guitars in asheville (weaverville) has a few in stock now at decent prices. i'd get the hd-28vs if i could afford it.

Well I can see it now:

Lanaki fluidly draws two Shiny Colt 45 revolvers aiming ever so accurately at BegginJM's heart and head, but stops and pauses ever so briefly..

BegginJm fumbles terribly with his holsters' latch, but finally draws the rarely used gun..it slips from his trembling fingers and falls to the ground.. as he picks it up he notices that Lanaki has inexcusably paused. BegginJM reaches quickly into his top pocket only to find (pause for dramatic effect) NOTHING! He says loudly "dangit Andy, I thought you to give me back my bullet after I nearly shot my toe off the last time I tried to use the Dang gun!"

"shootout at the "O" corral", I think not!!

The worst one sided fight in OHistory. :D :D

Well I bid almost to the end. I could not place a last second bid, and was woefully short anyway, read cheap! I was a couple O Franklins shy though. The end of bidding coincided with my 17 year old daughter going to the prom, so I had to bid prematurely (hold the comments, please). Taking pictures of her, her date and friends, overrides any guitar purchase (gosh it hurts to say it, but it's TRUE). As I said before, Right time and right place!

I only have one lovely daughter, there will always be another O available, Not that you could ever compare the the two!

in fact many O's:
"O, daddy, can i borrow the car?" then, "O, daddy was that dent already in it?"
or, "O, dad, i'd like you to meet my new boyfriend. he's just like you." to name a few...
