| I'm a rookie when it comes to guitars, I just bought my first one from Chris a 1621-4 which should be here Friday. Can anyone suggest good home training like DVD's or computer software.
A friend has the 5 DVD set from Estaban and said I could use them. I've seen his infomercial and I wonder if they are as good as they say??
I invite any and all suggestions.
Also if this should have been in a different forum please tell me which one, like I said I'm a rookie ;) |

Just don't get that Hat-n-Sunglasses get-up! Pleeze!
I got a bunch of DVD's, that haven't done me much good.
(well, that's kinda a lie)
I learn alot of stuff off of YouTube, Believe it or Not.
I\'ve learned some neat stuff from this guy!
And there are alot of others.
But Sure! Take what you need and leave the rest...
Learn what you can, however you can.
And Enjoy Yourself! |

you aussies should be proud! what's up with "tim tams"? My old dial-up system is extremely slow, consequently I rarely look at You Tube or any similar sites as it can take 45 minutes to watch a three minute clip!!!
I'm not sure about the "tim tams" reference Randy but if you want I could send some over to you...they are an Australian institution and you can't stop at one.
BTW...I did take the time to watch your clip Randy...it was worth it..beautiful work |

the guy demonstrated how a tim tam will explode in your mouth. he first bit off a small corner of the tim tam and then the opposite diagonal corner. then he placed the tim tam into his hot chocolate (has to be a hot drink) and sucked the hot chocolate up into it through the other bitten end. in other words, he used the tim tam as a straw. when the hot chocolate filled the inside of the tim tam, it "exploded" and it was all he could do to contain it in his mouth without spraying it all over the place.
besides all this tom-foolery, he is an excellent guitar player and has a great, free, guitar teaching website.
mahalo for your comment on my video! |
