Joined: February 2002 Posts: 5750 Location: Scotland | The 1627 didn't exist in 1966. Nearest 60's model was the K-1127. Earliest issue of the 1627 would be mid to late '71 or thereabouts. What's the serial number? that will get you close to year of manufacture. | ||

It was used for the tour, I'm not sure if that effects it's value at all but it's true. The SN is: 244 215 (It's black) Thanks for any information. | ||

I'm not boasting mind you I loathe boasting, this is just the only time I can remember that I endured in a transaction that worked way beyond my favor. I spent $200 on it and painted his kids bedroom. I guess he got tired of me swinging it off the rack every time I was in the same room with it. Some instruments are just...alluring ya' know? | ||
