Believe me, I bid the most I could safely do...I might have timed it closer but not really possible to be much closer...I wasn't prepared to bid over 3 grand and he was...that's life...I am able to sleep in my own bed tonight though! (just kidding) ;)
Blessings...

I'm so sorry, MusicMishka.
But I think $2800 is a reasonable price.

Absolutely Gorgeous Guitar. Would have liked to have it to keep my 1687 company.

Nice get, Tim.

Nice get, povation.

MusicMike ... you can still get a #47 at MF with a full lifetime warranty for a few hundred bucks more. Al may still have one, too.

Thanks Stonebobbo; I know it and that's why I bid what I did: the seller did not respond to my emails about the pickup installation; I am sure he tapped out the endpin hole and not sure about the original endpin; Earlier posts discussed how this might affect the value...I think that is still up in the air...maybe in 10 years it may make a difference...Still, its a really nice guitar. I did notice that the seller noted in the ad that the item only shipped to United States...
NP, there always more guitars... ;)
Blessings...

Thats cool...here is a post from the seller who just got back to me:
The original endpin was replaced with the input jack for the pickup. The hole was slightly enlarged to fit the new jack. Thanks for your interest.
NP provation, FYI only; Congrats!
Blessings...

So... I was curious as to where this would go.
Is three thousand a good deal?

BTW did that include free shipping?
...guess not, huh? :p
