Got mine today! Really lots o fun! My family is calling me Lanaki?! What does that mean?

Thanks again Dave, you have broadened my horizons! My family may disagree with that last statement though.

DAAAVVVEEEE! FedEx dropped the box off today. Surprise! Surprise! Surprise! On a Saturday! (note: my wife was *much* more surprised that I was...oops!)

The plan is to teach Littleman some simple uke songs as an alternative to that evil Cartoon Network and various video games (even if they are age appropriate).

THANKS!

John,
It's always good to have a plan. I also bought a different uke from Dave. I have to wait till June 10th to unveil my plan. ;)

Got mine today. Thanks Dave! I've been playing around with it. I can see this is going to be fun!

My son, the aspiring shredder, was facinated with it, especially the tuning. It was entertaining watching him trying to play Iron Maiden on a uke.

Cool thanks Jas. That's going to be fun. Lots of great songs. I notice Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots is posted there.

I'll have to see what I can find on there to surprise/impress my son.

Dave ... I know the uke has made it to casa bobbo. I, on the other hand, have not been there for a while so it'll be the weekend before I can irritate those who make my home what it is. When I asked what it looked like, I got "it's cute". Since #6 should be there as well when I get home, it's going to be a real dilemma deciding which one to play first. Seriously.

Update on my venture into the world of Ukulele.

I have changed over to the Aquila strings, filed the nut, reglued the rising bridge and oiled the entire Uke.

I like it!

I am working out some of the fat finger issues but it is very addictive to pick up and play.

I must fight the urge to upgrade (@#%&*! Witko)!

Listen to yourselves!!
You get a nice little Ukulele... And the first thing you do is Take It Apart.
That's the Luthier-testosterone-Shadetree Mechanic instinct!

Don't be silly OMA!

The OP 24 is way too long and the OP-Pro has an oval shape that doesn't fit the contour.

This is an obvious application for the Schaller sticky dot...

...what problem?
