I am parting with rare Ovation Eclipse Hollow Body electric guitar. These were hand crafted in the early seventies in Germany and then assembled in the USA. It has two Dearmond pick-up - one original and the other replaced with a vintage Dearmond. The guitar has had all pots and switches cleaned or replaced and been rewired to the original standard. I had the tuning pegs replaced with black Sperzels and it never goes our of tune. The entire body minus the fretboard is covered with that hard plastic laquer stuff that is on the bowl of the Ovation accoustics...it's indestructable The action is great and this guitar plays like a dream. It's great for jazz, rock or country. Why dish out much more money for a 335 when you could have something more unique. Hard case included.

Fun guitar, I have one myself. I love the neck. The black polane "bowl paint" finish is bulletproof and fingerprint proof! Priced roughly a couple hundred more than I paid last year but who am I to argue.

I just spotted it in my searches and wanted to post it here for any Ovation Collector's. I never had any Ovation Electric guitars before but have always been curious.
