Yeah, I'm back - Ovation fans are like GAS...it goes away for a while, but always winds up bothering you again... By the way, thanks to Al for graciously inviting me back. It feels good to be in with the other junkies once again. On the main topic, who are the other guys who have 1547's? I know there's at least a couple others here.

The '87 was just returned from the factory after getting it's top refinished and it is stunning. Many of you played it at the tour last month. The Book Elite has had a factory neck and headstock glossing. Even more beautiful than the '87 (if that's possible). Drop me a line if you are interested. Photos are on my website. Dave

Indeed Andrew, we'd love to have you come down to the Gathering on the 14th of July. Talk Mike into coming with you and carpool. Cheers and welcome back! _____ gh1

The funny thing is I'll be in Vancouver all day on the 14th anyway working the farmer's market. I'm there pretty much every Saturday for the summer, but by the time we pack up it's late afternoon, and my brother and I have to take the truck back up to the bakery and offload any extra stuff and deal with it. He'd have to drive a separate car, and I'd have to take the van back later and deal with the stuff myself...come to think of it, I could possibly do that, it would just make life a bit tougher on me. What time/place is the get-together?
