Can someone tell me differences between the following models:
aa31
aa51
cc11
1114-1
Please pardon another post about model number interpretation. |

Location: South of most, North of few | The 1114 is a deep bowl, 12 fret, slot head, wide neck. Very nice guitar. Far and away, better quality than the others listed. |

Location: Delaware | Here's one of several Ovation guitars I've been peeking at in ebay - APPLAUSE BY OVATION DEEP BOWL ACOUSTIC GUITAR~FREE SHIP Item number: 110143456731
Do I understand correctly that this is a Chinese made guitar? When they say "spruce top" does it mean spruce plywood? Usually "select spruce" or "solid spruce" is used to describe real spruce, right? Select, meaning two pieces glued together and solid meaning a single board?
I am interested in the deep bowl, if ineed this model actually has one... and from what I see the nut width is narrow - which I don't prefer. I like the wider nut/fretboards... appreciate the remarks of Trader Jim about 1114 - that is the kind of animal I am looking for!
You know, I have 2 decent Alvarez acoustics and would get rid of them both if I get a good sounding Ovation... American made is even better! |
