Location: Phoenix AZ | At one point they had a whole website for Ocean Acoustic. And when hey say "acoustic" they mean it - no electronics. I never heard about the surf shop story, but I had seen these advertised on line and I think the list price was $299. I think they were positioned as an entry level alternative to the MOB.
