I know this is a long shot, but I am looking for a set of these tuners. I think the classical tuners of that period were the same and would work as long as I could swap out the nylon-string plastic shafts for steel-string ones.

Any help would be appreciated!

Pic is compliments of Jerome's site.

I've only got four of them ...

I don't recall the brand but you can buy them as individual tuners. I have not seen the 3 on a plate version in decades.

The original tuners look marvelous. Wait for an original Josh White on ebay. You need one with a crashed top and a broken neck. I would assume this to be quite cheap. But it can take a long time. ;)

I found these tuners in a junk box. Look very similiar to the one from Dave but probably won't fit on the Josh White. Can't remember where they are from but seems that they are available somewhere on the market.

Sorry, Ol' Josh has 'em, and he's keepin' 'em.
I'll keep an eye out (cuts down on the depth perception, though).

They are hard to come by. Maybe just go get a set of Waverlys and be done with it.
