Really cool finish center-hole Adamas SMT for sale. Mint condition, excellent case, etc. VERY nice sound for a mid-body, and hands-down the best acoustic sound of any SMT models I've ever played. Think Custom Legend with a composite top.

Has one tiny flaw, in a repaired ear that is hard to tell was ever worked on, but it's there. Looks as good as new. Optima electronics w/XLR, gold strap-lock pins.

Email for more pics. Asking $1000, shipped in the lower 48. Anyone outside ConUS ask me about shipping costs.

So, Andrew, how might this compare to a 1767 deepbowl?...

Essentially it's the same setup with a mid bowl instead of the deep one, and a carbon top instead of AA spruce. Naturally, it's not going to sound identical, and the major difference I have been able to tell between mid and deep bowls is just overall volume. The tone is still very full on this one, and it pumps out as much overall sound as my Taylor 414. The thing I like is that it's very balanced, not especially prone to highs or lows, but has a very nice rounded sound to it.

Personally, even though they sound fabulous, I've not ever been a major fan of deep-body Ovations, mostly just for comfort sake. I usually play plugged, so for me it's as much about durability and electronics as anything else.

Hey Andrew,
Have you ever tuned it down to C standard and played it with heavy guage strings?..

I haven't ever tried alternate tunings, so I wouldn't be able to tell you much about that. For whatever reason though this baby has tons of sustain, and I'm sure would sound really cool if dropped to D or C. It would add a lot more bass I'm sure.

I can't wait.

How can you tell I'm a level headed type of guy?

The drool is coming out both sides of my mouth.
