Looks like a custom finish, is it? Nice job in any case.

Early model, normal s/b finish, it was this and black. Then white and barnboard were added. Then all the other options. Not the original knobs but so what, these look nice, better than the originals!

Pez - the guitar that Bionomic has is located in Australia. I don't know how much shipping is, but it can't be pretty!

Where are all the Aussie O'Cultists when you need them?

 I know it's getting warm down there, so no-one is hanging-out on the computers...

Arthur, I already have two UK11's.
This one is better than mine and I'd love it but I just bought an Ultra GP, that's slowed me up a bit.

I've been eyeing off the one Miles has for sale as well, then to top it off MWoody puts up the Ltd "mutt".
As one of our members says "you can never have enough money to buy more guitars"

Wish I could oblige Bio

Picked up this fabulous guitar and fell in love again! why was i stupid enough to try to sell it. so its off the market. Now for my real question if someone can help. I* need to change out the pickups on this and any suggestions would be appreciated. i dont like the originals and they dont sound great thru my fender bassman. any help would be appreciated

"i dont like the originals and they dont sound great thru my fender bassman."

Get a different amp. I wouldn't think even a Strat would sound right thru a bass amp.

Jim, you must be unfamiliar with 68 fender bassmans.

Yes, I don't think many Bassmans (I have a blond '62 version) were actually used for bass...most Fender bass players would use Showmans and the like.

I'm surprised you don't like the uk2 pups though. They're hot but do what they do quite well, I thought.

Bionomic ,

What don't you like about the UK II's sound through your Bassman ? Maybe I can help. I have a UK II and a number of vintage Fender amps.

Regards,

Tom
