Good evening everybody. Wondered if any members might have a Model AA15 12 string Applause w/ aluminum fretboard they would want to part with. Been watching Ebay but haven't seen any recently. I'm interested in one in any condition. Great 12 strings in my opinion(actually the only Applauses worth having). Thanks in advance... James

James, Herb David Music in Ann Arbor, MI had a decent used one last time I was in there (6 months ago), and it had been in there for a year or so. Might want to give them a call. Don't expect it to be cheap, though. I seem to remember a price tag of around $250 on it.

Look for the Matrix version. Exactly the same guitar with a different headstock and soundhole rosette. The later models with the aluminum/foam neck and rosewood fingerboard are a much better bet than the aluminum fingerboard versions. None are particularly common as 12-strings.

Thanks for the tips Roger and Paul. I have only ever seen one 12 string Matrix , they seem to be quite rare. I'll give the guy in michigan a call and see if he will take any less. Thanks again... James

Thanks, Paul for the reminder.....James, the Music-Go-Round shop in Novi, MI has a used Matrix 12-string. It's not in great shape, though, it has cracks in the top. The Applause at Herb David's is much, much better, if they still have it.
