Glen Campbell? or early 1115? looks like the rosette's been replaced with a MOP or Abalone but has shiny bowl, winged bridge... and Large sound hole... 68-70 model? for 265 shipped looked like a good deal... and will be my first shiny bowl.. I didn't even know to look there until I read the Serial #\'s Stamped in Neck Block thread. Then I found one inside my 1121-4 (with Grover's). Just thinking out loud  They can make it better than new in Connecticut!

I've done my part this week in the BFLG got a vintage 12 and a mis-labeled 1768(N768 label in it).. the Bluebird's about ready to sing too... Howie's finishing it out.. another good week.. Glenn

From what I can see my 1115-4 is exactly the same guitar except mine has the textured bowl. They discontinued the shiny bowl somewhere around # B-500 (mine is # C-412), so I assume yours to be one of the last shiny bowls they made late 1968 or early 1969. Mine has the same rosette so yours could be the original one. Karl

Nice grab Glen! Good for you that I didn't see it first! beats working for someone else.. and it's like the old telemarketing/sales game... without the rejection or do not call list... Char likens it to playing a slot machine... and she enjoys the work... the non-profits are a pain sometimes with over 5000 members here locally to manage... but the .coms are doing really well.. The Boss says that something's gonna have to be sold before any more come in after these two tho.. I now have 3 12 fretters... a 12, a classical, and a steel strung.... the balladeer, the 1768, the 1885, the UKXII, and as soon as I get another viper.... I think I'll be done buying O's till I can afford a new 1680 or ute... unless I can find another low-flying fud. Char's starting to make that Marge Simpson grumble when she sees me log on to the bay.. Glenn
